2025 FNPF Serevi International Tournament

WORLD’S FIRST $1M PROFESSIONAL U-18 EVENT - DECEMBER 22TH to 26TH

“The largest U-18 Sevens tournaments are played in Auckland, at Bond University on the Gold Coast and in Utah, USA. These are amateur events with no prize money. Fiji will take the lead in the professional sports era hosting the first U-18 Tournament with a million-dollar purse.”

Teti Tela - The Answer

The Goal

We are hosting a Major Sporting Event promoting Northern Fiji. We hope the Boxing Day finals create entertaining viewing and the country supports our celebrity players when they return home for Christmas. We hope to invite international selectors offering rugby contracts, university and school scholarships. Our success will be measured by the opportunity created for Fijian Youth.

It’s Fair

Prize money will be equally split between the men's and women's tournaments comprising 8 teams each. The prize money will first offset the team expenses with the remainder split 50/50 between the coach and players. This provides our professional players with a significant incentive to participate.

Registration Fee:

Registration for the tournament is free. International rugby stars will be selected to bring the best team from their country of origin.

Eligibility:

Players must be born in 2007 or later.

Accommodation:

We are currently inviting a select group of Hotels & Resorts to donate resorts stays during their off-season which will be auctioned to raise the Prize Money. The Prize Money will cover the cost of a new mattress, new sheets, a new towel, and snorkel equipment. These items will be donated to host schools at the completion of the tournament. Players and coaches will stay in school classrooms.

Host schools will provide accommodation and meals and will be adequately compensated for their help. We have plenty of friends ready to help. We want the tournament to boost local business and the community.

Transport:

International & domestic flights are not included at this stage. We are optimistic we can encourage resort owners forecasting weak occupancy in January to March who can provide us with vouchers which can be auctioned to raise the prize money which will cover all expenses.
